Meet DJ Boricua
Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, and seasoned through global travels with the US Marine Corps, DJ Boricua turned his passion into a profession. He started small, spinning in nightclubs from Okinawa to North Carolina, and now he’s a household name in Syracuse and Central NY’s Latin music scene. [Read more →]

DJ Boricua
‘Miguel Santiago, aka DJ BORICUA, was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, and has been involved with music since his early days. After joining the Marine Corps and traveling the world, he began working in small nightclubs in Okinawa, Japan, and other cities near his military bases. After becoming part of the biggest Latin Nights in Camp Lejeune, NC, it was time to move on. After leaving military service, he decided to develop his DJ services and expand his talent into the radio market. That’s how La Explosión Latina Radio Show was born in 2002 in Syracuse, NY, catering to the Latin communities of Central NY. With Latin Nights at local bars and restaurants in the area, the rest is history in the making.
